Exhibition New Orleans

The FIAP will host the Sister Cities exhibition from November 4 to 14, 2024. Artists Rory O’Neill Schmitt, Rosary O’Neill, and Rachelle O’Brien will present their photographs exploring the connections between New Orleans and Paris. Two short films by the artists will be screened as part of the exhibition.

Event schedule:

• Opening reception on November 5 from 6 PM to 8 PM
• Conference on November 7 from 6 PM to 8 PM: The artists will give a bilingual presentation illustrated by a slideshow, followed by a signing of their works. Registration required: gonin@fiap.fr
• Educational workshops from November 4 to 10: Bilingual workshops will be held for schoolchildren, exploring art, history, and cultural ties between Paris and New Orleans.

These events aim to highlight the rich cultural connections between France and Louisiana while celebrating the creative work of these artists.
